Hello! It’s an absolute pleasure for me to have this opportunity to speak to you once again through this newsletter. I hope you have been finding it informative and insightful. At Orcapod, we are passionate about keeping up with the most current developments in the world of staffing and human resource management and this newsletter gives us a wonderful platform to share that with you.

I hope you had a joyous and safe Diwali and now, soon enough we’ll be gearing up for all the Christmas and New Year’s Eve merriment. This year has been challenging on so many levels and these occasions have come as a welcome respite.

While this year has been unique to say the least, there have been some interesting developments too. One that I find particularly intriguing is the sudden surge in the temporary worker economy. It has certainly been a revelation! However, we cannot say that we didn’t see it coming. Since some of years now, millennials and now the Gen Z workers have shown an increasing inclination to work on a flexible basis because of the choices it provides and 2020 seems to have provided the perfect backdrop for this phenomenon to unfold.

In these times of extreme uncertainty, businesses are now far more open to hiring freelancers and temporary personnel than they have ever been before. I personally feel that it makes great business sense to do so in the current environment. Our staffing team was quick to adapt. So far, it has done a great job of providing our clients with various kinds of temporary workers across industries in the country and globally. I am proud to say that we are fully equipped to handle all such staffing requirements. We are excited to see how this trend progresses in the years to come.
